ASUS K52F Windows 7, Professional edition Service Pack 1, 32 bit

"This copy of windows is not genuine"

Update KB971033 is installed but it does pass the Genuine test and I can download Windows updates.

I have also activated it online successfuly.

I have updated the BIOS to the most current version: K52F.218

Problem seems to be with a missing certificate?

Because you still have some time left on the initial trial period, you will pass as genuine.

No you did not. Your system is not yet activated, and oem:slp is an offline activation. You may however have validated online, and passed as genuine because of the initial trial period.

Most likely because you did not install it, although the oem:slp key is installed

Download the asus certificate from link provided by Tito, and install it.

    Thanks for the info.

I had the current BIOS version wrong in my first post, K52F.218 is correct.

I've downloaded and extracted the files, do I use the 2.1 version?

I know how to change the certificate but not the .bin. Can you give me some guidance with this?

    Thanks

Install the 2.1 cert and you don't really need the bin file.
