I would like to add my Office 2010 KMS Key to my Windows 10 Pro Host Computer. The Windows 10 Pro is also a KMS host with a volume activation key Installed and activated and working. I successfully added my office pro plus 2013 KMS Product key to this Windows 10 Pro Host Computer. For office 2010 kms key, I tried downloading the Office license activation pack but its says windows 10 not supported. I tried adding the key through the Volume Activation Tools but it wont take it. I had it working fine before on a windows 7 pro kms host pc, but now we upgraded to windows 10 and i cant get the key to install. Any help is appreciated thank you!
I did contact Microsoft by phone and forum. They have terrible support. I was unable to get a yes or no answer to question: "Can I add office 2010 kms host key to windows 10 host?". I had no problem adding office 2013 kms by downloading the office license pack and Volume activation Tools. But I get an error trying to add office 2010 kms host key.
seems to me that you are on an official way to get your software activated. Call MS and they will/must help you out. There are some clowns on the line which must be skipped but you definitely find one who knows
I downloaded the latest license pack, but it seems to not be compatible with windows 10. I got the following error message when I was trying to install. Does Microsoft maybe not have an updated office 2010 license pack for windows 10 ? Im gonna try the commands above even though the office 2010 license pack failed just to see if it goes through. I will post back soon.
@Tito Solved! The solution Tito provided worked! I extracted the latest license pack file for 2010 and Installed all XrML Digital License 1 by 1 with "slmgr.vbs /ilc PATH_TO_xrm-ms" then continued with the rest of the commands provided by Tito. Thank You!
