    Hello there,

I need to assign (preferably) strings to different Mainboards,
which I can read out from a Linux environment via dmidecode or any similar tool.
Integers would do too, but strings would be cooler ;)
The main point is to identify different Mainboards which are essentially the same Hardware.

The Mainboard is an AAEON EMB-CV1,
    with an AMI Aptio BIOS.
    R1.6(ECV1AM16)
    Version 2.14.12.19
(sorry the board won't let me post links,
just google emb-cv1 for more details/bios downloads)

The Tool to flash it to the BIOS could also be a DOS Tool.

I don't know which possibilies I have here,
but I hope there is someone here who can point me in the right direction

    Thanks for the help,

    letesch
