    Thanks will try that now,

is not possible to use flashrom to hotflash ?

    Much appreciated

    ** EDIT **

Tried with the latest BIOS and the 3 earliest BIOS

    and nothing is happening

The USB I am using has an LED and there is not activity when I boot the motherboard with the combinations suggested.

I have asked several times, but no one seems to want to answer.

Is it not possible to hotflash ?????

So using Afudos, I get the following error when attempting to hotflash the chip from a P8H67-M Pro motherboard

"3 - Error: ROM file size does not match existing BIOS size"

When I save the BIOS file to the USB stick it is only 4MB in size.

How can I force the flash ?

Or is the issue because the P8H67-M Pro uses a 32M flash chip while the P8Z68-V LX uses a 64M ?

I also have another BIOS chip from another P8Z68-V LX which I fought the motheboard had failed (5 beeps on startup). So I tried this BIOS chip on the motherboard that has the corrupt BIOS and I get 5 beeps.

So it seems I have two corrupt BIOS chips, one from the Tito flash and one from a different motherboard.

But neither of these BIOS chips respond to the Asus method of recovery !!

    Help please

    @mongoled

I'm extremely sorry, but this is a tested method. Looks like not flashing on official 4105 bios triggered the brick.

I've created a new thread & moved the related posts here; also removed the download link temporarily. Do you have access to any CH341A USB programmers? You may also order pre-flashed ROMs online.

Hi, thanks I understand the risks involved.

Do not have a CH341A USB programmer.

What im not understanding is that I have two BIOS chips and non of them respond to the 'Asus method' of recovery.

1st BIOS chip 1 got bricked when flashing your modded BIOS

2nd BIOS chip give four same tone, same length beeps, then a fifth higher tone shorter beep

None respond to Asus method of recovery.

As I have said numerous times, but still have not got an answer, is it not possible to hotflash the chip ?

I have been attempting to recover this motherboard since it got bricked, its been over 4 hours, my eyes and head hurt and just want some answer to simple question.

    Can hotflash work ?

    Thanks
