Hi, Does anyone know of a way of disabling a program from starting in Win 11? it is showing in the taskbar on each restart. - The app is not listed in "Start up" under Task Manager. - The program is ASUS Suite III and is called - "EzUpdt.exe" which is used to update the BIOS. - I can't disable it at all and it shouldn't appear in the taskbar so how do i stop it from running? Any suggestions?
disable or delete its task via "taskschd.msc" thats all ......... cross check either its running or not via TASKLIST /M "exe name"
Another way is do go Safe Mode then go explore to that file and rename it.. Also go to RUN start to remove it.. That only way will stop.. I have 10 computers that use ASUS motherboard stuff.. ATGPUD2003
Isn't that part of Armoury Crate? There is a setting in the UEFI firmware to not push Armoury Crate to the PC.
It's from AI suite 3 I believe I have armoury crate installed but no ezupdate on my system installed with armoury crate. You can deinstall ezupdate by running AI suite 3 installer and check or uncheck what ever you want edit wait I have checked and there it is ezupdate the useless program from asus so you are right I guess Removed the complete folder ezupdate from the C drive in safe mode and it's not starting up any more so that was a quick fix
