Testing by fresh install, I'm pretty sure that everything is fine before the update. Probably a local problem with your system, I have 6 computers here at very different ages and from different manufacturers. And no problem with any of them, also haven't been. Right now I just checked again to see if there was anything what I haven't seen and don't still know, but unfortunately or fortunately everything is OK and have been all the time OK. And this service works/runs without any problems. This KB was installed 10 days ago.
Thanks for your reply. Do you use LTSC ? CLIPSVC seems relate with store APP, but LTSC has no store bundled. So I guess it's a bug for this cumulative update.
Its a bug from the May 10th update. I was getting alot of spam in Event Viewer about ClipSVC after the update. I was also having trouble installing apps from the Microsoft Store. I uninstalled the May 10th update and everything is back to normal. A newer update was released like two days later for the Release Preview channel, but that didnt help with my issues. I have WU on pause now, untill I hear about the issues being fixed. This is all on Windows 10 Pro.

Yeah KB5015020 has fixed the MS Store issues I was having. I think I recall not being able to sysprep properly because of an issue with CLIPSVC as well...
