Leave password blank if you have reset to default.

unplug internet port and all pc's but only 1
reset router button 30 secs then pull power out 10 secs and put it back in.
if your modem and router are on same net (DHCP) like 192.169.0.x it would be conflicting.
so try changing the router ip from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.10.1

reboot modem and then plug in cable to router.

make sure you set pwd on router.. new malwares changing DNS in routers if default pwd.

You must reset the router. That is the only way you can put in a new ID and password.

Go to D-Link website, then go to the Support section.
Look for the support for your specific router and model.
Then, read the manual that comes with the router and look for information that tells you how to reset the router.
Once you are done, then log into the router then you can setup a new ID and password.
Please write that information down and put that paper somewhere safe or you can take a picture of that and put it on your cell phone.

    Good luck! ;)

ok first if u reset the router to be re-configured... u most connect your comp via cable to the router

then enter this static IP address in your TCP IP settings

    192.168.1.5
    192.168.1.1 default gateway
    192.168.1.1 DNS

Factory Default Settings for the D-LINK DI-604 router router
    Username: admin
    Password:

once router configure go back to your comp TCP IP setting and change it back to dynamic
