[Solved] Decoder Error

    I am getting a "Decoder Error" " The Video Decoder Is Not working, is not installed" how do I go about getting them. Thanks for all the work

    sounds like you need a codec pack, or just install something like ffdshow, I personally use shark007 codec pack.

    I too am getting this error message. I am using a Hauppauge USB TV Tuner, 9550Q I think, and when I try to play live TV I get this message. What codecs does Windows 10 need? Not sure if the WMC installed fully since the Guide isn't functioning correctly, that is it doesn't download the TV schedule, but the channel line up shows.

    I tried this, installed ffdshow and chose the windows codecs listed, and it still won't let me play live tv in WMC.
