    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to use a 32'' 1080P TV with my Acer Nitro 5 laptop, but I'm having some issues. Whenever I try to watch a video or play a game the screen goes black for a few seconds and when it returns everything becomes sharp and blurry until I close the video. I have updated all my drivers and it's still and issue (I am not using drivers from windows update). The DPI settings are also screwed up when using a TV. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    Specs:

    Windows 11 Pro (64-Bit)
    Intel Core i5 8300H
    16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 RAM
    Intel UHD Graphics 630
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
    Realtek High Definition Audio
LG 6x BP50NB40 Ultra Slim Portable Blu-ray Writer

    Storage:
465GB Western Digital SSD (Windows is installed here)
    238GB NVMe KINGSTON SSD
8TB And 4TB Western Digital USB External Drives

I can't use that driver. I get the error message : Your system has a driver that is locked to manufacturer specifications.

IDK If it happened on 10 When I got the laptop I immediately installed 11 on a new ssd.

I do notice that when I plug in the hdmi cord it tries to use the nvidia card instead of the intel card.

So I fixed it. The issue was windows changed settings on the tv to try and match the dpi settings and color of my laptop screen. It set the dpi to 150% and put the sharpness & contrast settings all the way to 100%. After playing with the settings everything is ok now.
