    Hi All,

Years ago I hid my "G" drive partition, now cannot remember how to undo it. I changed the drive letter to "M" and it shows in Explorer, but trying to change it back to "G" and there is no "G" available. Gotta be a registry fix to make that "G" letter reappear?

Usually, if you just changed it go M, you need to reboot before attempting to change it back. Windows locks the drive letter to not confuse programs and because there might still be files locked using the old G:\ handle.

Submit an image of the Disk Management window in that computer so we can see which drive letters are currently present in it.

Well, that was part of the problem. A reboot shows "G" but when I assign my partition to "G", it remains hidden from Explorer.

I found it. It was an older program called "TweakNow PowerPack 2011", it has a listbox of shown drives and "G" was unchecked. Just checked the box and a log off/on did it.

    Thanks!
