Guys, today when I tried to open Internet Explorer I got this error  any idea how to fix it?? I scanned my PC with Malwarebytes,Hitmanpro & Avast & did not get any virus/malware detection & also did sfc/scannow but, nothing corrupted was found....earlier today,I uninstalled a media player & fixed system errors with Advanced System Care (been using it for a long time & never had any problems like these with any RTM Windows)....... I don't really use internet explorer but, it would be helpful if this problem was solved

Do a System Restore to a time before the media player uninstall.
Then uninstall the media player and see if the error is still present.

I notice on your desktop you have Google Chrome installed. Does this work ? If so maybe try to download IE again direct from M.Soft ?

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Locate APPINIT_DLLS and delete it. Restart your system. Or simply restore your system to earlier time.

Yeah Google Chrome works, thing I'm worried about more is if there actually is a virus that is not being detected .....can you suggest any good virus scanning software that will detect in depth infections?

I downloaded that mediaplayer from softpedia using internet explorer & smartscreen filter did not detect anything

    Welllllll

Folks will say I am crazy for this, buttttttttttttttttt

If for what ever reason I think my PC is infected with any sort of nasty. You wont like what I am gunna say..

I waste no time and simply wipe my drive clean and install a new OS.

I have all my important files backed up and I do this very regularly.

    You seem a bit worried.

For me it's the only true way of knowing your machine is clean.

Sorry but that is my advice...

So follow what the other folk say.

Does that mean you aren't going to play your Hitmanpro again?
