There is A solution - a Registry tweak, didn't have any problem with this one Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell\InstallPackage] @="Install Package" "HasLUAShield"="" "Icon"="powershell.exe" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell\InstallPackage\Command] @="powershell -nop -c Add-AppxPackage -Path '%1'"
I added registry tweak, installed package through PS Add-AppxPackage and Terminal app still won't open. I don't know why. I think LTSC is missing some component/s that allow run apps from "Add-AppxPackage" installation, because I just opened Microsoft.WindowsTerminal_Win10_1.15.2524.0_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle with 7zip and opened CascadiaPackage_1.15.2524.0_x64.msix within it and next extracted all files from there to system drive and WindowsTerminal.exe opens and works without issues. (basically standalone version) There is something wrong with packages instillation on LTSC, but nobody knows what and if there is a workaround.
No, not for regular consumers but you can get the license for MS Apps provided with Windows https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1719128/
Won't lanch in Audit mode? or after sysprep? maybe Add-AppxPackage is needed in this case (after sysprep) is the license full offline? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...lete-cmd-file-not-working.86079/#post-1764308 it's always best to add the app offline to install.wim
@n3ro97 I just used Fluent Store which is a front end for the Windows store github.com/yoshiask/FluentStore Note: The app also gives you the option to download the appxbundle and save it. Which you can install by clicking on it whenever.
~edited~ Sorry for flaming, but I'm sure that tonsa people will agree that things needed to install msxibundle are the worst ms integration by far. To prove it, I've searched limitless forums on web. And this endless story with people trying to install msixbundle[d] software is just huge pile of bloat all over this msixbundle solution(I mean MS stacked too much of bloat) [<addressed not to the OP]. ~edited~
I just tested running the command: "wsreset -i " on LTSB 2016, LTSC 2019 and LTSC 2021. And Microsoft Store was installed in all 3 Windows versions
_____TRUE! Yeah, I just found a much better solution. After 3 days trying to instal on LTSC. Just found similar exe apps, and they work way better after adjusting settings and unchecking installation options [size is a lil bigger, BUT! with tonsa additional and very usefull capabilities !
