Hello I installed Windows7 Ultimate x64 with the original ISO I downloaded from here. It succesfully updates itself but when it comes to Office 2016, Windows Update can't find any. I chose "Update Office" thingy when you open it first time after the installation. Also I clicked on "Find out more" link in Update, it opens and just says Windows Update added to Contol Panel, I don't have any option about other Windows products in Update settings. Can anyone help me please ?
Thanks for the answer I dont have any option about updates in the Office Settings. I looked for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\policies\microsoft\office\16.0\common\OfficeUpdate key as the article suggested but I cannot find the Office entry after policies/microsoft I both installed Office and Windows from the original ISOs which shared in this forum and activated via Microsoft Toolkit by the way
run powershell as admin and execute these commands one by one: Code: $ServiceManager = New-Object -ComObject "Microsoft.Update.ServiceManager" $ServiceManager.ClientApplicationID = "My App" $ServiceManager.AddService2("7971f918-a847-4430-9279-4a52d1efe18d",7,"")
It seems it worked ! Could you also shortly explain what just did I do and what was wrong with my computer ?
You activated Microsoft Update, which is needed to get updates for other msft products i don't know what's wrong with yours
