Hello. I'm currently using a Windows 10 x64 Enterprise LTSB image "en_windows_10_enterprise_2016_ltsb_x64_9059483". I don't want to download every bad microsoft update that I'm missing, but is there a list or something of the essential security updates and bug fixes that I should merge into my install image?
Define “bad”. What’s bad to you may not be bad to others. If it's bad to me and I can negate it, is it really bad?
Seems OP got too used to the Win 7/8/8.1 Update News regarding Telemetry and broken systems. For Win 10 it will usually be the current Servicing Stack and CU plus additional Flash Security and Co. Fortunately there are no additional Telemetry ones that need to be avoided .
Yes it's mainly the telemetry updates I wanted to block. Though it may be moot since I'll end up running that telemetry block script anyway.
Stop thinking like Windows 7 when you had to install thousands of updates over many months. Windows 10 updates are cumulative. If you do not know what cumulative means, google it!
WUMT might be nice for all who need some more comfort since literally every front-end for WU is better than the default GUI. Unfortunately being a front-end limits it to download express CABs and EXEs which cannot be integrated offline .
