[SOLVED] Media Foundation

    Hi! Why in Windows Server 2012 R1 when installing Media Foundation it gives an error "Failure configuring Windows features. Reverting changes.". How to prevent it from reverting features installation?

    No idea about your specific problem, but I suggest to use Server 2012 essentials if you need media things, It comes with all codecs and drivers (including BDA / TV stuff), out of the box.

    Any server 2016 comes with practically all media features. No need to use Essentials for that purpose.

    Perhaps If op asked for 2012 likely has his reasons to do so.

    UPD: I am got Media Foundation (and Desktop Experience) to work by installing it offline via dism
