    Can't you just load the MSI rom into your programmer.
    That's what I did to update the bios on motherboards from Skylake to Kabylake...

    And you do not tell where you can download bios for GE72 6QE with the unlocked descripton region (remove the restriction on the firmware of the modified bios) or a description of the method for locking descriton region. Many thanks for helping me and ask me to forgive my English.

    I've only tried flashing the notebooks through the UEFI update (in bios) or from dos & have never been able to flash a modded rom on these notebooks. Serg008 tried to help but we couldn't do it.
    What if you flashed modded bios through the programmer?
