So I have this new setup of srv 2019 that is loosing web connectivity all the time.

The hardware is a rack 2U server with two onboard Lan ports and if I switch them the connectivity is restored, for a little while. Every time I go to the Router to set its IP as static it looses internet.

None of the normal cmds help like:

    ipconfig /renew /flushdns
    or
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset

Troubleshooting the connection tells me I should reset my broadband router, but every other device works.

The server has no added roles but for fileshare. No DNS no AD, no nothing. I have tried giving it a static address with the ISP's DNS servers but it does not help.

I am beginning to suspect something in the dhcp static addressing on the router, but I have other equipment on static addresses and they work fine. Any ideas on what to look for?

Turned out to be an ARP entry in a Router. Some static entry conflicting with another static entry. That I never even did myself.
