I am hoping someone can answer the above question since I've done SFC Scannow everything shows no integrity found. I've also checked under Devices Auto Play is checked with open folder to view files (File Explorer) but that is not working either. I've tried different ports along with a brand new hub with 11 USB Ports but same thing shows drive letter but fails to open folder. I'm looking for help suggestions why this is happening since it did work a couple of weeks ago. It's similar to Windows safely eject where now its working but it has attitude also. Thanks for reading and hope someone here can toss out some suggestions to why this happening.

Did you check the filesystem on the USB already?

    chkdsk x: /f /x

The above is what my reg is showing but as one can see it totally incorrect. I changed as they stated to 91 rebooted but no cigar. :( I'm thinking maybe I'll just leave since I can still access my files on all of my externals. Thanks again Carlos for your help. I love that slogan "Emperor of Ice-Cream" ;)

NoDriveTypeAutoRun and NoDriveAutoRun can appear in multiple places inside the Registry. The machine-wide policies override the user-defined ones, so make sure you got all of 'em.

There are no hidden ones, so, yes. What's not there is on defaults.

There is also a setting for disabling media change detection and notification altogether (AutoInsertNotification).
