I hope this is the right place for this post. Recently I clean installed Windows 10 64bit , but there is no sound in some games like NBA2K14 and Spintires which I previously installed in Windows 7 32bit on other drives. Although, the system sound is working properly. EDIT: solved the problem by installing DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010). Now I have no sound problem.
Hi! If this problem only occurs when you play, perhaps these games are not suitable for Windows 10, although this seems surprising. You can try updating or reinstalling them to see if this solves your problem. Finally, you can also update your drivers, especially the Realtek sound driver; it is possible that bugs may cause a loss of sound on some games, like the ones you specified. I hope this can help you. Best regards
My problem is quite different from yours but the similarity is that I also started facing the problem only after windows 10 upgrade. In my case, my Access database application starts undergoing several problems like: • Starts getting” file is corrupt and cannot be opened” • The the application was unable to start correctly • Access found a problem with <filename> • Access can’t read <filename> And all that happened after Windows 10 upgrade. So I can tell you how I have fixed this issue. source: accessrepairnrecovery.com/blog/fix-ms-access-problems-after-windows-10-update
