i have recently started to pay attention to backing up windows, i am a bit confused with various backing option windows has and if/if not they overlap each other.
can anyone provide some easy explanation to the following:
    1. Backup an Restore (windows 7) [auto scheduled backup]
    2. System image
    3. System protection
(i have system protection enabled for boot drive, and scheduled backup and restore is also enabled)
theres one more called "file history", no need to explain this.
    Screenshots are below,

what i guess is scheduled backup and restore creates a system image, so option 1 and 2 are the same and don't need to manually create system image if i have scheduled backup enabled. Correct me if i am wrong

    thanks for the explanation, but
1.why the size of system image backup is 5-10gb when my boot drive is about 50gb used?
    2. scheduled backup and restore creates system image too within the backup? below is the screenshot of my selected setting
