Hi, I fixed my neighbors computer today by installing win 11 on it and connected to the internet via my wifi and it worked perfectly. A real stupid question I have is will my WIFI name and password of my router show up when he boots up in his house or just his router and settings will appear? Any help is appreciated. TIA TIA
When his pc is in range of your router it will connect to your router when you didn't remove the sign in to your router when he took it home.
I still have his computer now. What do I need to do exactly so it wont have any or my settings. Thx very much for helping with this enthou. Appreciate it.
Ok, Thx for all that info, If my neighbor has an ethernet connection all he has to do is connect the cable to the back of his PC that is coming from his router and his internet connection should work fine, correct? Also, if he uses wifi on his pc, Is all he will need to do is click on his WIFI in the system tray, select his router name and enter his password
