Solved:Surface pro 3 System Firmware Update - ‎9/‎29/‎2015 - Error 0x8024004c

    Has anyone had issues with the System Hardware Update from 9/‎29/‎2015 downloaded then gave following error message
    "System Firmware Update - ‎9/‎29/‎2015 - Error 0x8024004c"
    Edit:the battery power power level was the cause of problem because it was less than 30%,already updated

    if your running a anti virus remove it.....re-boot the box and try the update again.

    Did this one fix the "takes forever to boot if keyboard cover is folded under" bug?

    after you asked, tried to make it happen multiple times and actually seems to be gone. doesn't delay start up any more how ever type cover is.
