[Solved] SVF patches: resulting iso same as MSDN?

Discussion in 'Windows 8' started by Deleted member 222776, Jan 13, 2017.

I keep seeing SVF patches on the forum and I understand what they do: they basically make changes to an existing image ABC.iso to form a different DEF.iso image.

Say I apply a SVF patch to an image to form another, will the hashes match on the resulting image? I mean is this the same as MSDN ones?

    Thank you

The svf file basicly is the difference between two iso's, the patch + source iso will recreate the target iso, used at the creation of the patch.

And if done with MSDN iso's, the result will match the correct MSDN iso.
