Hi, I've found some great advice on here, but still having issues. Can anybody help please?
Toshiba Satellite L500-19X PSLS0E with corrupt BIOS, after failed WINFLASH attempt. Blank screen on power on, with no boot.

I downloaded Crisis disk. Downloaded latest PLASH16.EXE
I downloaded Toshiba BIOS file from Toshiba site.

Extracted the BIOS210.exe file to get swaa210a.rom
    Renamed swaa210a.rom to BIOS.WPH

I could not create Crisis floppy as the BIOS file was too big, even when trying the compressed option.
    I created crisis USB instead.

Followed instruction, all devices removed, power removed, battery removed.
Inserted USB drive, held down FN-F, inserted power & pressed power on. The USB flashes once, then nothing more.

I tried both USB ports. No difference. I tried 2 other USB flash drives, still no difference.

I tried creating a bootable Crisis CD.

I created an IMA image from a crisis floppy, added the PLASH16.exe, MINIDOS.SYS, BIOS.WPH, then created a bootable CD.
Inserted new Crisis CD & followed same instructions, to no avail.

I tried all of the above again, renaming the BIOS file to BIOS.FD, to no avail.
I tried using different versions of PHLASH16, to no avail.
    I tried using different keys (Win-B, FN-ESC, WIN-ESC, WIN-F, FN-B, FN-F), to no avail.

Does anybody have any new suggestions, or can see any obvious school-boy error in what I've been trying please?

    (OP)
    RESOLVED.

I decided to put the laptop back together, HDD, CD, Memory back in, left battery out still, gave it one last go with USB Crisis flash stick, FN-F keys & it loaded immediately.
    N.B. I used PHLASH16.EXE 20/11/2009 & the BIOS file renamed to BIOS.WPH.
