[Solved] Trouble installing Win2k12R2 Std on VMW ws 10 - bios440 unexpected file size

    Workstation 10 on debian wheezy.
    -created the vm, install OS later
    -copied DELL[PE_SC3]2.2-86838433.BIN to guest folder
    -added bios440.filename = "DELL[PE_SC3]2.2-86838433.BIN" to vmx

    try to start guest - blammo - "bios440 unexpected file size"
    bios from page 3 of Windows-Server-2012-amp-2012-R2-OEM-SLP-Keys thread.

    Totally newb so - what the heck is wrong here ?
    Wrong bios files for VMW ?
    bios too old ?

    Thx in advance. still reading...

    Doh ! I had a feeling I was arsing it up :) Thanks so much for your quick response, I'll give that a try.

    Thanks for the feedback. You just need to install the cert & key - thats it.

    slmgr -ilc <Dell cert>
    slmgr -ato

    and product activated successfully. wicked awesome. Thx Tito !
