When trying to access 1fichier.com on Windows 10 and Windows 11 the browsers always state it's not possible and mention ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I already deleted the hosts file, reset DNS settings and tried different browsers and I'm having this issue for some years only on this website. I also have this issue with other PCs on the same network and on my phone on the same network and when using different browsers when using Wi-Fi but not if using the phone's mobile network.
some times if you been accessing to many back to back free D\L you mite get blocked for 48 hours or so and then it reset and you can access it again.
I have this problem the first time I access 1fichier in weeks/months and I can't even reach the part to start downloading files.
No, that might not be enough. Kindly go through the linked Wikipedia article in the previous post to know why.
Ok, but assuming my ISP is really enforcing DPI, why is it doing it for this site? Also, the tool you mentioned seems very hard to use.
It seems users from other european countries are also unable to access 1fichier.com because it's apparently blocked.
I disabled 1fichier.com in uBlock Origin and restarted the PC and the phone and now I can access the site. This is odd since I previously disabled and even removed uBlock Origin but without restarting the PC and the phone and I couldn't access the site. It seems turning off the PC and phone fixes this issue (as well as adding the site to uBlock Origin's trusted sites tab, of course). Another thing I don't get it is why I don't have this problem if using the phone's mobile network. Therefore, I no longer need to use a VPN to access this site. EDIT: It seems I spoke too soon since I still have this issue.
If I disable IPV6 in the current Windows network adapter and reset the router (which removes the previously Cloudfare IPv4 DNS I set on it) I'm able to access 1fichier but sometimes it looks distorted and I have to refresh the page until it looks normal but on the phone even after setting its DNS to match Cloudfare's I stop being able to access 1fichier so I guess I should set Cloudfare's IPv4 DNS on the router again, enable Windows current network adapter's IPv6 and use a VPN to even be able to make a second download on 1fichier right after making a previous one (which is possible thanks to a VPN and even with the original router IPv4 DNS set and with IPv6 enabled in the current Windows network adapter I'd still had to use a VPN to make a second download in 1fichier right after making a previous one).
I enabled IPv6 on Windows network adapters, set Google IPv4 DNS in Windows and Android and I still can't access 1fichier. Why don't I have this problem when using the phone's mobile network? I'm going back to use Cloudfare's IPv4 DNS in the router and Cloudfare's IPv6 in the PC. I guess I'll have to use a VPN every time I access this site.
My ISP installed a new router and I can access 1fichier.com without even changing the DNS on my phone and PC and it doesn't look distorted. I guess it was the previous router's fault. Also, this router uses the same SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, it doesn't let me separate them and it doesn't let me change the network's DNS.
