The only way I can think of is with changing the key with for example slmgr.vbs /ipk <MultipleActivationKey> ps should work with the key ending T83GX
If you want to permanently activate a win 10 machine make sure to generate a genuineticket.xml on the permanently activated os (win7 or 8) before you install windows 10. i'd just reinstall windows 7 or boot it from a different hdd or partition and generate the ticket then. Try checking with slic tool if the board has a slic 2.1. then there won't be any problem activating windows 7, generating the ticket and activating windows 10 permanently afterwards. if there is no slic 2.1 and you don't have a valid key for windows there may be the possibility to generate the ticket with a windows 7 + loader. never tried that though.
Indeed you have just to insert the generic key with slmgr /ipk xxxx-xxxx.... I can't see how much inconvenient a single command can be.
T-S, sarcastic as usual Of course it's not inconvenient whatsoever. That's what I am looking for. Thing is I don't have the wisdom, time, you name it, to get that information. Don't tell me it's around the Internet. That's why I come here to ask. Now could you please share full steps and that generic key to me?
@Mr.X: as a long time member with 4,2xxK post's, you should have known that Volume activations are limited to 180 max (AFAIK!), MAK Product Keys could be activated permanently for a sudden amount of activations of the same Product Key (AFAIK!). As that old member of MDL, you should know what kind activation you could use for to permanently activate a Windows 10 OS, there several ways outlined a lot of times on this forum!
@pisthai Rough Sunday huh? rofl Longevity and post count are not a reliable indicator of knowledge for some things. I've been here since 2013 and learned a lot but real life is above all. That said, most of the time I don't read all threads/post, so for ME getting knowledge that easily is not possible. Hey! But lets not forget about your "debate" about SVF patches vs. original isos. Remember? Do you recall the WRONG idea you had (maybe still have) about them? Moreover, you don't even understand my problems in this case, so pointless it is what you answered. Have a nice day
not here to bash. have you tried slmgr.vbs -rearm then try the key with ipk dont use customized isos with keys in it.. it overrides the auto activation.
I know mate you are not. I tried -rearm but I completely missed -ipk <generic key> In fact @T-S just taught that to me in previous posts. LOL And yes, from now on I won't insert keys in my AIOs. Thanks.
