You do anything fancy to your winsxs folder? compact it maybe? You know what I would do? I would work backward and uninstall the updates one at a time and see if/when it got fixed. Perhaps there's an update that doesn't like the method you used to install them.
Hmm, made no difference, installed Updates in Audit Mode beginning with Update 1 ISO manually and via WU. Same behavior . But a good tipp, will test next to install the latest May updates one by one to check.
hey just skip those updates that not security updates its wont have big influence on the system and wait to iso with update 2
Only thing I can think of is that it's somehow missing a pre-requisite update or something. Since you've experienced the problem a few times, I take it you don't have an adverse opinion to retrying it. Try re-installing and just using Windows Update. Then if there's no problems, compare which hotfixes were installed vs the ones that WHD tries to install. Also, maybe it's installing one of those pre-2919355 hotfixes instead of post-2919355 hotfixes? Just an idea, I really couldn't say for sure.
Hmm, already installed the May Updates in Audit Mode via WU with same result. After sysprep/generalize WU was corrupted in my test installs .
Yes, but perhaps one of those updates is incorrect in one or more of it's resources. You don't need to update things in Audit Mode btw. Normal user with admin privileges works fine. Try using actual "Windows Update" to install them, not the hotfixes themselves.
Have no problems on my main system, but with integrating to my install media. Tested several ways to no avail so far .

KB2956575 is the only May's update that has WU components, try to spare it actually, it has all the fixes that KB2959977 offers, so maybe using them both cause the error
I just integrate what Windows Update lists to integrate. Sometimes I get a duplicate update fix. It happens with WU sometimes. I usually have to look for duplicate win8.1 flash player hotfixes. It likes to install a few different ones. Also in win7 it likes to install duplicate ie11 rollups; which is frustrating. If abbodi says that 2959977 has the fixes that are in 2956575, try using it instead and see if WU still nags for it.

Well...I followed advice abbodi says e not integrate kb2956575(of line) this time in iso windows 8.1 pro update1,and to my surprise WU works perfect... would be this the problem?...I will need test and other editions like embedded and see the result,be is same thing...THANKS GUYS!
