GPT should have nothing to do with it. Reinstall Win10 and wait it out. If you were activated OK the first time you should be good to go. It may take time to go through. And maybe after a few reboots.
Are you installing Windows 10 Pro? Better download ISO for it and upgrade on Win 7 Ultimate by running "setup.exe" from ISO extracted on your hard drive.
Yes I'm using 10 Pro. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work for me since installing from inside the OS wont let me reformat to GPT. I activated 7 Ultimate using Daz Windows Loader, which requires MBR. That is why I did the free upgrade first to get the digital entitlement and reformat to GPT and reactivate 10 PRO through the digital entitlement.
make sure u log in with MS account and try activation again. open daz loader and will show u the serial then try to activate.
When it asks or does not, keep asking for live person, sooner or later they will switch you to live person. Any time you call MS and get a Bot, just keep saying live person, no matter what they ask you, see you have to confuse them to speak with live person.
Before I clean installed Windows 10 after upgrading, I made a backup of my activation using some software from this forum(I don't remember the name) and then restored that activation after clean install. It got activated instantly.
So I was able to finally upgrade again and It wasn't activate at first. I tried a few restarts and waited a day and tried again. Nothing. It said no digital entitlement. Then I gave the elevated command lines, that ashish.k suggested, a try. They didn't seem to work; however, after a restart, it was finally activated with digital entitlement. I want to now fresh install and change to GPT. Though I want to make sure it will reactivate. Is there anything that I can do to help with any hurdles? A key I can find in the registry or some way to have proof of my current activation?
I had been testing the "Windows 10 Digital Entitlement Permanent Activator v1.0 Beta" from Best(Sick)ProSoft this Morning, and started thinking, Anybody naïve enough to use something like that deserves what they get So I'm not sure if it's actually a "Key Finder" or just getting the keys from some type of Keygen I will strongly advise against using anything like that !!!
