This problem of Windows 11 do not save login data has been since the beginning. It means that there have also been isolated times where this problem has disappeared but then appears again. But you still haven't answered anything about your "Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts" question. If it is turned on, you will not be able to use automatic login. And this thing/requirement/device is not new. It has been like this for at least the last three years or even longer. So, first turn this requirement off and restart computer. Only after that you can hope turn log in automatically.
Hello, Thank you all for you replies. After your confirmation, I tried this on a VM, the reg edit method with unchecking the password less login settings worked with both v525 and v674 version. I have further tested this on a different computer, it worked there too. Out of frustration I have formatted and clean installed the Windows 11 v525 couple of times on this particular PC with the said issue. A few attempts later, suddenly on a clean installation, Reg Edit hack along with that unchecking password less login did the trick. Not sure why or how. So thankfully It is working now.
