[Solved] Windows No Longer Updating Windows Defender Definitions after Upgrading to 22621.1413

OK, I'm leaving it for another day.

If it continues to stall, I will remove it.

EDIT: @MS_User, if you don't mind me asking, what update was it?

 

What is your Windows 11 version?

 

Strange that you got those updates after updating to 22621.1413.

I got them before doing so, long before, like in February.

 

Does anyone know why I am having this problem?

 

No, I haven't.

Actually, I am using a third party antivirus program, but it's curious in that before KB5023706, Defender always updates through Windows Updates.

I can live without Defender, but I can't be certain if I can live without Cumulative Updates too.

 

All right, well, if I do have trouble downloading Cumulative Updates like Defender Updates, I'll get back.

OK, after all that bulls**t, I'm going to wait until next Monday to remove the current version and put in the newer cumulative update and see if that changes anything.

If not, I change Insider Channels.

EDIT: Pity about Angel Faith. She was so lovely. Oh well, that's what spammers deserve and i was stupid enough to believe she was going to contribute to the issue.
