I have just installed windows 8.1 on my sister's pink VAIO laptop :p

Everything works well, except that CPU fan which is working on maximum speed and is very loud.

Anybody has this issue? I know this is completely software or driver related, but I cannot figure out what driver update might solve this issue.

Nevermind, problem solved. Installing latest Intel Graphics drivers and AMD Catalyst drivers fixed the issue.

in my vaio it's working fine. I am still using the old graphics driver which is given by Sony. All other/latest graphics drivers don't play video somehow. only audio o_O

I installed Intel's driver from windows update (actually it installed itself) and AMD Graphics Driver 9.17.10.3114 from VAIO support website. There was no need for old Intel driver and it wouldn't install anyway. AMD driver is an old driver indeed but it's working fine on my system. Yep, I can adjust brightness from the settings charm, and the CPU fan is working normally now.
Also there were a few unknown devices in the device manager, but the solution was easy:
installing a few drivers (firmware extension device, wireless state device and something more) from VAIO support site, rebooting and manually updating drivers in device manager (choosing local search for drivers in C: drive).
