Sorry if already asked but... Has anyone tried Vlite-ing Windows 7?

    DISM in the AIK can do all of this type of stuff however it is not very user friendly. With Windows 7 MS treats the install as a deployed image because well that is what setup does, it extracts the image in install.wim and then uses DISM to add/remove features from the online install.

    So if you have your own custom install.wim you can use DISM to add/remove features from it. I prefer this method myself because once you get used to using DISM it is real easy to offline edit an image.
