Hello i have windows 7 64 bit with the sound blaster tactic 3d alpha headset, i am running it with bfbc2. I get reletively quiet yet very noticalbe static while in gameplay of bfbc2 (especcialy during moments requiring loud bass use) and not in any other audio playback outside of the game (regardless of volume or bass usage). so my question is what is causing this and how do i fix it. P.S. i tried my headset with a clean install only with bfbc2 and the headset drivers and their sound tweaking program(thx true studio pro) and still the same static. Also the static occurs only with their sound program installed i really want to use their program though cuz it gives a true to life sound experience
Two things I can think of: 1) You're plugging into the audio port on the front of the case, this can at times give feedback if it's not grounded properly. 2) You're using a Nvidia GPU and 26x.xx Forcewares. In this case it might be DPC latency issue causing feedback. This issue hasn't been fixed properly as yet. Just try newer drivers, Beta 27x.xx are out.
i am using the 26x.xx drivers so i'll try the newer drivers thanks. Also the static has suddenly dropped frequency as in it doesnt do it as much or as often Darn spoke 2 soon the crackling is louder than ever, also just installed black ops like 10 times worse in that game. downloading new drivers now hope so bad they work Edit: the drivers didnt't help at all PLEASE HELP ME!
