If you can see your problematic driver in the device manager, try to update from there.

Are there vista drivers around? If so, you could use 'em in Win7 as well. If you get the same error message, try using it in compatibility mode.

I have installed windows 7 on old asus p4p800s-x mb.
    SoundMAX AC97 audio on board.
Windows 7 has downloaded audio driver automatically.
Or you can try same version driver can be downloaded from asus download site, on some of p5p800 series mb SoundMAX AC97 audio is used. And you shoul download driver for XP, it's working good.

I've not drivers in Device manager, so how can I update them? I am already saying, tell me any place where can I download Drivers from?

Sorry, I've not Vista or 7 drivers. Can you tell me where I download Vista drivers from? I've only Windows XP drivers.

Good answer!!! I've already known that Windows 7 automatically installs its drivers from Windows Update. But I want when I re-install Windows 7 with no internet, then I drivers must be already saved in my Computer and I install them by double click.

Also the same drivers that works on XP (on same PC) doesn't work in Windows 7. Message comes that your OS is not supporting.
