    Hello,

    I have HP Compaq Business Notebook nc6000. With Vista Loader 2.1.2 (claimed to have fixed the ACPI: Reclaim Memory not found issue for Dell and HP laptops) I still get ACPI: Reclaim Memory not found and it cannot boot. Searching web suggests this is common problem with this model (nc6000).

    Looking for mod BIOS instead suggested that this does not use Phoenix/Award or AMI BIOS and modders not been able to add SLP 2.0 support to its BIOS.

    Are there other ways to do pre-activation on Vista SP1?

    That is exactly what I did.

    See original post in thread, there is no possibility to have the BIOS modded either, hence why I posted the thread. Not for help with Vista Loader, I already know that is not feasible, but to enquire about alternative means.

    Does the unlimited re-arm trick work with SP1? Or is that identical to TimerStop that no longer works?

    @z00ps00p,

    Have you tried other soft loaders such as VistaBoot by GKend?

    I believe the latest version is 0531 (in a file labeled 0605) but there is also an AIO installer that is version 1.03 (that contains version 0527 of the boot loader).
