Start Menu Stays Open

    Only a slight annoyance but when I open an item from my start menu
    the start menu stays open over the opened item and I have to click on
    the screen to close the start menu.

    Is there some setting to correct this procedure?

    Never mind. I went back to see if this was program specific and I could not
    duplicate the earlier anomaly. Go figure.:eek:

    well every time my machine comes out of sleep if I press the keyboard to awake it, the start menu is always open, drives me, lol

    I found out I was causing this by double clicking items in my start menu.. With a single click the start menu closes when the item opens.
    I have my mouse set to open things with a double click due to old shakey hands and didn't realize it
    only took one click in the start menu.
