I'm using win 7 ultimate with daz loader. I can only start up with the daz recovery cd. Without the cd win 7 hangs when the white text appears and then the cursor blinks! I wonder if there is away to repair start up again ? It happened when i used command : bootsect.exe /nt60 all or sys / force. But if daz recovery disc used no problem. Could it be that grldr file is missing on my C disk? Could I copy it from cd to HD or is that whisfull thinking ?
Have you tried installing the loader using the advanced option "Use legacy mode as default"? Maybe it will make a difference, give it a shot
How are you planning on fixing anything without trying something? Magic? I suggest you purchase a license legally from Microsoft, this way you wont have any problems at all!
Do you have a 100mb hidden partition in your HD? If yes, it contains all boot hidden files in there, Copy all to C:
Haha, nice. @zaiko: Try what Cyrillkk is saying. It might get Daz's loader to work on your computer. That is why the Legacy Boot option is there in the first place dude. If it still does not work then just use the auto repair(Part of the install CD) and it will fix your boot issues.
These guys are skilled activation testers so if your not going to comment in the appropriate Daz loader thread I suggest you take there advise and trouble shoot
The existing one is of no use, since you have applied bootsect /nt60 SYS, it cannot be used. But it would be cleaner if you uninstall then reinstall the loader. The uninstall will remove the previous file and then install will put a fresh copy in its place.
