Startup Repair Will Mess up Your Installed 'Loader'

    Does Start-up repair mess up the 'loader' i have installed?

    Don't know about the loader but I have used it to repair my boot menu in Win7 & Vista.
    If you do use it you'll probably have to use a BCD app. to rename the OS's again unless you can live w/ the default names.

    im sure those are fine.
    what else would i want, a custom one?
    i already did the start-up repair. was having problems with a triple-boot. did i mess up the loader some-how?

    If you aren't getting any validation pop-up you should be ok.

    looks like it did mess it up.
    i was unable to install SP1
    i re-installed the latest daz loader. any ideas?

    that doesn't mean that you have a validation issue,could be anything.

    what does it say on the details error ?

    Here you have a link that will help you perform an offline installation.

    remove the space between the "t t" and "w ww"


    download the one that is compatible with your system,it will also perform a validation,so that will be covered.

    is it because i'm triple-booting with os x, linux and windows on a hybrid gpt/mbr?

    had to set the windows partition to active
