Hi all, first time posting. I updated my bios from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/27301?highlight=wolfdale1333#post27301 . What do I do now, I mean what do I do after I do my fresh install of vista ultimate x86? My mobo: Asrock Wolfdale1333-D667 R2.0 Bios: Updated to 1.4. I previously had vista running for almost a year with another crack. But doing some updates it stopped working. So, here I am, not sure what to do. I've read a lot of stuff and I took off UAC and defender and I made sure I got full admin rights. Can someone please give me hand. I tried to do a few updates through vista loader, it worked and took off the activation but as soon as I dl'd some more updates with vista it took off the activation. So, as of now I am at a loss, do I reformat again and not donwload those updates which stop the activation and hope that the loader will work? Any ideas or directions like a step by step I need to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.
Hi, I appreciate the help. Got another simple quesiton: Will I be able to do all the updates or should I try to avoid those updates that try to thwart this type of activation? Thanks again.
LOL Man oh man... Thought by flashing the bios with the newier one was the real bios thing? LOL Ok, I hate to ask, but if I'm this far, how do I go about doing a real bios mod? LOL Thanks.
Hey, I think that is the one I dl'd. But thanks for all the help, I updated after your instructions and I was reluctant to download that patch from windows against verification. So, I saved it for last, got brave and decided to dl'd it after all. Everything is running smoothly and great! Thanks for your help, really appreciate. Welain Netup!
