    Hi Guys,

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and used OPA tool to insert the key and the certificate. I went to validate online and it showed me that I'm genuine, but, when I right click on my Computer. In activation section that I have 30 days to activate, while the serial number appears under this line shows OEM as the second combination. Am I not activated? Or I misunderstand the words validation and activation?

    Thanks for help!

    MK

Do you already have SLIC 2.1?? OpaTool is outdated & doesn't contains latest certificates.

    Post an MGADIAG report.

    Thanks Tito!
Yes, I do have SLIC 2.1. I'm at work now, I can do that later today.

In trial, all products are considered as genuine.

I know that, but, it shows me the serial xxxx-oem-xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or something like that.

OpaTool installs OEM:SLP key matching with the edition of Windows. But the cert isn't correct.

AFAIK, I can use Josh Cell tool "MBR Regenerator" as I used it in the past many times and I like it.

That is a really nice tool for cleaning up corrupt activation files caused by some activators. However, it will not activate you. Installing a certificate and serial to match an already existing slic can be done running Daz's loader installer app. It will detect the existing slic, install the cert+serial, but not install the boot loader component.

I concur with Tito, an mgadiag reort would helpful here.

Yes, that's what I meant :); to use MBR Regenerator then I activate with Windows Loader by DAZ. Already done, activated and validated ;)
