Strange MSI-AMI Bios ?!

    I got the same problem on my Medion Akoya E1210 Netbook (similar to msi wind u100). It's clearly an AMI Bios but AMI Mod Tool tells me it's not. It would be great if there would be a workaround to inser SLIC2.1 to those BIOSes.

    I think the reason that thew AMItool will not open the bios is that it's not a plain AMI bios. It's the Aptio generation that is based on the Intel UEFI spec.

    I'm nut sure that those bioses are moddable. At least the Intel versions are not.

    Hopefully I'm wrong but otherwise we will need to wait for Medion to release an new version that has SLIC2.1.

    I sure hope someone can find a straight answear to this, because from my digging around, there seem to be Ami-Aptio bios tools, but no one seem to have them.

    bios is ami abtio code basis. no way to modify this!
