Build is ltsb 2016, guess it has ran fine for 4 months or so.

I haven't modified anything too much, other than I guess running classic shell.

I was scanning something when all hell broke loose, so to speak...

    Thanks.

Won't let me choose "Upgrade" from boot, running the disk from within windows just hangs...,.

Unless you have a saved system image to run back, which you don't seem to, I'd agree with lobo above.

It won't if you don't specify it in the reset dialog. Simply choose to keep your information or folders. You can have all your folder's data intact.

Well, I went the 'reset' route and reinstalled this festering turd of an on, and not comes the arduous process of tweaking back into something I can use.

    Classic Shell is already installed....

    Thanks all...
