I installed my purchased Win7Prox64 a few months ago, and went through the Microsoft Windows Validation process. Tonight, I saw a notification in the lower right corner of my screen that my Windows 7 installation was "Not Genuine". When I rebooted, I saw a pop-up telling me that I needed to get a valid version of Windows. What is going on?
Hi, Hazar - I couldn't find "Software Licensing Service" or "Microsoft Software Licensing Service" under my list of services. Is it under another name?
Could be your "Software Protection" service ("sppsvc" under services tab in task manager). Make sure it's set to 'Automatic (Delayed Start)' or just Automatic. If you've had any hardware changes it could be that as well. If nothing works, give MS a ring and they should be able to reactivate it for you.
Code: Try the below steps to recreate the Store. 1) Open an Internet Browser 2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar. 3) Find the file CMD.exe 4) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' 5) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes) Note: the Software Protection servive may not be running, this is ok. 6) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform 7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar 8) Type: cd %windir%\system32 9) Type: net start sppsvc 10) Type: slui.exe 11) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically
