i thought DDR2 800Mhz CL4 (4-4-4-12) is already the enthusiastic level back then. a low timing does not mean higher memory throughput if the main clock is also low, eg. 667Mhz CL3 is not faster than 800Mhz CL4
Well, I thought also that 4-4-4 is the better standard in DDR2, but it appears that 3-2-2-8 is the better standard for overclockers Wrong. With tight timings, a lower clocked memory outperform higher clocked memory with relaxed timings. I seen this recently in article, but... it frankly does not matter. Because my clock will be limited, therefore I need as low timings rams, as possible. Hence Micron D9Gxx chips...
