Suggestion DMI Boot CD for Award-AMI-Intel BIOS

    Hello, I had a doubt. SLP installed the 1.0 from this CD, and if this does not change the BIOS (flashing), which is what really makes for Windows XP recognized the SLP? (If not install it on your hard drive?)

    All it does it puts a SLP string in the DMI area of the BIOS, the DMI area is a special writable area in a systems bios where OEM manufacturers display various information about the system

    So how can I modify or edit the information, or add a SLP string in that area in BIOS?

    DMICFG and the AMI DMI editor is on the tattoo disk in addition the the auto tattoo function.
