I'm looking for grease for DVD, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD drives; but I can't find any specifically designed for these drives.

I have a whole ton of salvaged Xbox 360 DVD drives, PS3 Blu-Ray, etc, but they all had their lasers replaced so naturally need some new grease.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    don't use WD40 or 3 in 1 LOL

Too much grease is worse then none at all btw. You might consider checking out the specs on "Super Lube 92003 Silicone Lubricating Grease with PTFE Teflon" Home Depot has it. Safe for rubber, plastics.

Vaseline gets the screw going but its not safe for plastics i believe.. condoms break due to it.

Condoms are latex, not rubber... I'm not sure if vaseline screws rubber tho... just pointing that out :p

Forgot about this thread. In the end I purchased some Lithium Grease. This is the 'white stuff' commonly found in a wide range of household electronics.
