    Many of the named are ripoffs of Sumatra, no wonder they are "similar".

    I like Sumatra because it specifically does *NOT* support any scripts in PDFs. It is therefore not vulnerable for such attacks.

    Menu -> Settings -> Options
    Uncheck "Use Tabs".
    Now every new *.pdf file opens in a new window.
