$600-700 I would think about it. $999 is nuts. Ill stick with an extra pound of laptop and 17.3 inch screen, suffering the tired arm syndrome :D

Dude, this has ultrabook hardware not laptop hardware... look at the prices for Ultrabooks, you can get a fast but heavy Laptop for like 500Euro thats way more powerful than a 1000 Euro Ultrabook
Also microsoft <CAN'T> release it for anti-competive pricing, that would seriously damage OEMs

I would go for a supercharged notebook, as I can't live without performance :D...Quad Core i7 (3720QM), 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, 17" Full HD Display

True, but you'd think for that price they'd give you at least an actual keyboard, like on any ultrabook:
 Anyone buying this isn't going to do it for just the touch-optimized "apps".

My main problem is the battery life. They say only 4 hours! Not good for my sales staff out on the road.

Battery at least 15 hours for 4G.
Price too high which will give people to think about Android!
More USB ports, Bluetooth, WIFI, Camera at least 12 megapixels.
