my comment is why are you "SELLING" your used laptop to your gf? why not give it to her...its good for PR lol but seriously though, the chipsets look to be the same size so theoretically the swap should be an easy one. ive never worked on asus laptops, but they are mostly the same as far as disassembly goes. there are diys out there (google).
About giving as opposed to selling... I know what you mean, but with all the work and optimizations I've done to it (plus she's getting all my accessories) I feel like I'm giving it to her! LOL Thanks for the reply, and just to clarify... you don't personally see any incompatibility issues? I know I don't, but I've been known to overlook stuff from time to time. Anyone else have any comments? Criticisms? Rants? I'm taking on all challengers!!! LOL Thanks in advance.
